Today is a monumental day for the history of my Internet Blog. Today is the day that I tried to install Dragon NaturallySpeaking CDs on my computer. Of course being the Luddite that I am. I was not able to complete the installation of the Dragon naturally speaking CDs to my computer. Thankfully my wife took it upon herself to complete the installation and I am happy to say that Dragon NaturallySpeaking is making its first official appearance on ldkbox.com.
It certainly was a simple process of learning the new program that was installed on my computer. It took Just a few minutes of work on my part to get through the tutorial provided by the program. Although I do not know all the ins and outs of the process, I do feel bad. I have a good grasp of it at this moment and am certainly enjoying blogging without having to employ my uncoordinated fingers to get my message across.
Now that I have this new program installed and have made the first of many new posts, my mission has become easier because telling a story is what I really want to do. This will certainly make it easy for me to tell a story and put it on my blog. I’ve been a kid in a candy store today. Just gleefully thinking about the potential of what this voice driven typewriter is going to do for my blogging experience. I’ve always been interested in a good story, and I believe in some circles I would be considered a good storyteller. There certainly isn’t any reason for me not to be able to tell a good story, because all I need to do is speak of it and the words appear on the screen.
As I tried to complete this latest blog article. My son comes walking up and views the computer’s monitor. He is just in awe of what is happening before his eyes. For that moment alone it was worth the price of the program.
